Switching

I've decided to end this blog, for quite a few reasons.

One of the reasons is one I've previously mentioned about not wanting to merge two different things into one blog.

The second reason is that I'm just not inspired to write about Valencia or Spain at all because I honestly don't love living here. I feel it's unfair to call this an expat blog when I can't find the energy to write about my experiences or share photos. I feel my husband and I truly came to this country at a terrible time, right in the middle of the economic crisis, and needless to say we haven't really had the opportunity to discover and enjoy much since we've been here. Unfortunately, so much bad luck has taken a toll on our opinion about the country, culture, people, etc. and we no longer see this as an exciting adventure. We're just trying to move along and thinking about a better future somewhere else. Our goal for the past year has been to move to England and that is what we will be focusing on from now on. We cannot see and experience the present if we both as just thinking and striving for what lies ahead.

In the end, I plan to clean up this blog and save it for a more professional use in the future (seeing as it contains my name) and will move my thoughts and ramblings to another blog. This entry will be left up for about a week before I delete it as well, in order for anyone that may actually read to be aware.
